Thygesen & Birk Fabrics A/S

On 1 June 2010 Thygesen Fabrics A/S and Birk Jersey of Denmark A/S merged their circular knitting activities into a new joint company, Thygesen & Birk Fabrics A/S.

The result of the merger is a number of synergies which makes Thygesen & Birk Fabrics a very attractive supplier when it comes to both quality and price. The company has a large and varied collection of machinery within circular knitting and warp knitting, ensuring an almost unlimited product range of different fabric qualities and patterns for the clothing, medical, furniture, and car industry.

The company has its domicile in Ikast, Denmark, and has approx. 30 employees. Sales takes place from the sales office in Ikast and via sales agents in Europe.

Thygesen & Birk Fabrics is owned 60% by Thygesen Fabrics and 40% by Birk Jersey of Denmark.
