Thygesen Fabrics A/S

Thygesen Fabrics has for many years been one of the leading manufacturers in Denmark of high-quality knitted fabrics sold to the textile industry worldwide for further processing into finished garments.

Thygesen Fabrics (formerly S. Thygesen) was founded in 1931 when Carla and Soren Thygesen started the production of children’s and ladies’ knickers on modest 90 sq.m. of production area.

In 2010 Thygesen Fabrics and Birk Jersey of Denmark merged their circular knitting activities into a new joint company, Thygesen & Birk Fabrics.

Besides knitting activities at Thygesen & Birk Fabrics in Denmark, Thygesen Fabrics has a 100% owned knitting plant in Vietnam.

After transfer of knitting activities to Thygesen & Birk Fabrics, Denmark, and Thygesen Textile Vietnam, main activity of the parent company Thygesen Fabrics in Denmark is the sale of fashion net stockings supplied from subcontractors in Slovakia, Italy and China, and from own knitting plant in Vietnam.

Through the subsidiaries T-Wear A/S and EASE.DK a/s the company further offers ready-made garments supplied from Eastern Europe and the Far East.
