Responsibility Strategy

Below, you can read about the points that Online Textile Solutions is working on and/or has achieved in relation to our responsibility strategy:

Online Textile Solutions has developed and issued a Code of Conduct and other relevant policies concerning child labor, anti-corruption, chemical restrictions, and more. Additionally, an on-boarding procedure has been established for new suppliers.

All suppliers and agents are required to provide information about where Online Textile Solutions’ products are manufactured. A procedure has been established for maintaining this information.

Our key suppliers are required to have at least a social audit, such as BSCI, SMETA, SA8000 or similar. The validity of these audits is continuously monitored. In the spring of 2026, we will take a closer look at the environmental practices of our suppliers, potentially through BEPI audits.

At Online Textile Solutions, material selection is important to us. We have long focused on organic cotton, bamboo, and FSC-certified viscose in our collections. Choosing the right materials – from an environmental, social, and economic perspective – will continue to be a high priority for us in the future.

Furthermore, in 2025 we developed a comprehensive testing strategy, including a chemical testing program, to ensure that the products we bring to market are 100% safe.

Online Textile Solutions has achieved satisfactory results in employee surveys.

2025 is the year we begin preparations for the Digital Product Passport. The first step is to map our supply chain – as far back as possible.

At the same time, our focus is on the material strategy, which will guide us towards more sustainable products. Beyond raw material fibers, the strategy will place emphasis on durability, recyclability, and repairability.

At Online Textile Solutions, we have an ambition to achieve FSC certification for textiles by 2030.

We are working towards ensuring that all our suppliers are Oeko-Tex certified by the end of 2027, where relevant.

In addition, we are developing a plan to gradually obtain further certifications, such as GOTS, GRS and others.

As part of Thygesen Textile Group, we measure CO2e emissions in Scope 1 and 2 and follow the reduction targets set at group level.

Furthermore, by 2027 at the latest, we will measure emissions from both inbound and outbound transportation, and in collaboration with our suppliers, work towards optimizing transport in order to reduce CO2e emissions. As a guiding principle, our strategy is that all overseas deliveries must be shipped by sea freight. Air freight is only accepted in exceptional cases and subject to prior agreement, as we aim to minimize the use of this transport method.

At the same time, as part of the calculation of product-related CO2e emissions, we will begin mapping the CO2e emissions of our largest suppliers before 2027.

Packaging – both product and shipping packaging – has been reviewed, allowing us to optimize size, quantity, material, and composition.

Packaging consumption has been recorded and reported in accordance with applicable regulations.

In 2025, our goal is furthermore to achieve 100% compliance in the major international markets.

In 2025/2026, we will initiate a process focused on developing the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) for selected products. The goal is to be able to measure the CO2e emissions of all products by 2030.
